Dear Parents/ Carers,

It is with great regret that I need to announce that Mrs. Rees will be leaving the Academy as of August 31st, 2016.  As many of you are already aware, Mrs. Rees is currently unwell and was not able to return to work after the half term break.  Some colleagues are already aware that, in fact, Mrs. Rees was diagnosed with breast cancer during Easter 2015 and she has managed, thus far, to undertake treatment and maintain her working life with minimal disruption.  Unfortunately, this position is no longer sustainable and she now needs to prioritise her health.

We are so grateful for the strong foundations her work has provided for us at Tudor Grange Academy Redditch, we know that the school will continue to go from strength to strength and we will always be grateful to Mrs. Rees for this.

Mrs. Bolter (formerly Miss Long) will now take up the post of Acting Principal for the remainder of this term and the autumn term.  I know that Mrs. Rees has the upmost confidence in Mrs. Bolter and, indeed, it was her own diligence in succession planning that has provided us with stability in the school at a difficult time.

Should you have any questions or queries that you would like me to address directly then please do not hesitate to contact me via my PA, Mrs D Green on 01905454627.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs C Maclean

Executive Principal, Tudor Grange Academies Trust
