TGAR Smashes The New Headline Measures From The Government
Outstanding Progress for TGAR Students
Tudor Grange Academy Redditch students are celebrating achieving above the expected rate of progress with on average, each student exceeding their target in all subjects*. This continued success has seen a 20% rise in students achieving A*-C grades in 5 or more GCSE subjects with 83% achieving this.
There have been some absolutely fantastic achievements with 100% of all students in Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) achieving an A*-C grade. This follows on from our previous year’s success in Science. English and Maths have exceeded the national benchmarks for expected progress with English achieving 76% and Maths achieving 78%.
A third of students achieved A/A* grades in their GCSE subjects with superb performances from Megan and William Moss, each with 6 A*’s and 4 additional A’s for Megan and 6 A’s for William. Our twin students are also celebrating a superb 95% each in their Maths exam. Other successes include Lydia Bethel (3A*’s, 6A’s, 1B), Joseph Cardy (2A*’s, 7A’s, 1B), Daisy Chawner (2A*’s, 6A’s, 4B’s), Alexander Cottom (1A*, 7A’s, 4B’s), Catriona Stronach (3A*’S, 8A’S, 1B), Noorulhuda Zafar (2A*’S, 5A’s, 3B’s), Amelia Watson (1A*, 6A’s, 5B’s), Kieran Cann (1A*, 5A’s, 6B’s) and Emily Evans (1A*, 4A’s, 7 B’s).
There were also some superb achievements in individual subjects, with 100% of students achieving A*-B in Music, more than 80% of students achieving an A*-C grade in Health and Social Care, Drama, and Dance BTEC. There were some top performances with over a third of students in Biology, Chemistry, Music and Physics achieving an A* or A grade.

TGAR Students Celebrate Sixth Form Success
Once again Tudor Grange Academy Redditch is celebrating their sixth form achievements.
Tudor Grange Academy, Redditch, is very proud and excited to announce another set of wonderful results this year. 100% of all students achieved level three qualifications. An incredible 80% of students achieved at least three level 3 qualifications. Brilliantly, over one third of all students, achieved a top grade of A*- B with 16% of these gaining the top A/A* grades. Again, another fantastic year for our vocational subjects, such as Performing Arts, Health and Social and Art – these subjects boast an outstanding 100% pass rate. A-Level French, German, Music Technology and Further Mathematics all achieved 100% pass rates of A*-C, alongside A-Level Chemistry who achieved a tremendous 75% A*-C and Physics with 70%. Tudor Grange Academy would like to sincerely thank all staff, parents and carers for their on-going support and would like to congratulate all of our students for their personal successes.

Furthermore, we would like to congratulate each and every one of our students for their personal successes and achievements. Due to their own diligence and hard work this year, 100% (99%) of these students have secured a destination of their choice – with 77% of these students securing a place at their first or second choice university.
We are extremely proud of all of our students and their achievement is a credit to all of them. I am enormously grateful for the dedication and commitment of both staff and students and delighted that their hard work has resulted in their high achievement. This year group more than deserve all of their success and achievement and I wish them all the best for the future as they embark on their next steps.
