After just a few short days back at school, the Bronze and Silver DofE students embarked on their qualifying expedition in Shropshire this week. After a very early start, the students were dropped off in Stiperstones in Shropshire before walking over the Long Mynd and camping in Little Stretton for the night. The students then walked over Much Wenlock to finish in Church Stretton. All of our students have worked incredibly hard over the last few days to put all of their knowledge of camp craft, cooking and navigation into practice in really challenging terrain, whilst being completely self-sufficient.
Miss Cerrone will be running DofE again next year, so please look out for a letter of interest around September/October. If you would like to know a bit more about the expedition, please see the DofE twitter page from this year’s expedition at https://twitter.com/TGAR_DofE.
