Friday 11th November 2016

Today, Friday 11th November 2016, Tudor Grange Academy, Redditch, took part in a special Remembrance Day celebration.   All of the staff and students took part in a ceremony led by their CCF army cadets where poppies were laid, poems were read and time was given to reflect whilst the Last Post was played.

Kevin Hall, School Staff Instructor “I think it’s wonderful that the cadets get the opportunity to lead on Remembrance Day and it is our privilege to do so”.  The Remembrance Day is something that the academy supports every year.

Jodie Bolter, Principal for Tudor Grange Academy said, “It is important that we remember the people that have given their lives in service to their country. We feel as a community it is important for our staff and students to unite in this special remembrance”
