Tudor Grange Academy Redditch are celebrating with their students today. Mathematics continues to be a strength in the school again and this department has seen an increase in the proportion of students achieving grades 7 or better. Other subjects that saw a jump in the proportion of students getting a 7 or better were German and GCSE Media Studies.
We would also like to congratulate students in English, where the proportion of girls achieving grade 5+ increased, as well as the pass-rate for students with low prior attainment.
For the second year running about a quarter of the Year 11 cohort secured grades 9-7 (or equivalent) across their GCSE subjects. There were superb performances from Rosie-Mai Blake (grade 8 in English, grade 7 in Maths, Combined Science, History, PE), Steven Harrison (8-8 in Combined Science), Elliot Smith (grade 8 in maths), Emma Hunter (grade 7 in maths), George Evans (8 in GCSE Media Studies). Other strong performances came from Csenge Marjoros, Fern Wilkinson, Charlotte Lees, Emily Woods, and Jess Hollis.
There were also some excellent achievements in our other courses, with 100% of students achieving GCSE grades at 4 or above (equivalent) in subjects such as Music.
Mrs Jodie Bolter said, “We are extremely proud of our students and their achievements. I would like to thank all staff for their continued effort and congratulate all students. We are looking forward to seeing many of our students again in Sixth Form and would encourage any students from other schools looking for Sixth Form places to come and visit”.
