The student council is made up of 6 representatives from each year of the Academy and is chaired by students.
The council’s role is to work with the teaching staff at the Academy to ensure that student ideas and concerns are shared. The student council then work together and with teaching staff to ensure that the ideas of the council are taken forward and concerns are addressed.
The student council is responsible for Academy charity events and supports Children in Need and Comic Relief, as well as a number of local, national and international charities.
This year, the student council has:
- Looked at what makes a good quality lesson, the result of which is a poster click here which is now displayed in all classrooms.
- Worked with the student council at Ridgeway Middle School and the School Parliament from Walkwood Middle School, to produce a guide to transferring to Tudor Grange Academy Redditch – DOWNLOAD: Student Council – What Makes a Good Lesson
