Tudor Grange Academy Redditch is an 11-19 school of around 400 students, and a Sixth Form of 31 students. TGAR is one of four high schools with a Sixth Form in Redditch, and this, coupled with reorganisation of the feeder-school pyramids has meant that overall student numbers have declined in recent years however whole school student numbers are set to increase. Most students take three courses, but higher attaining students are encouraged to study four courses, with the potential to move to three in Year 13. In 2025, 85% of students progressed to Higher Education from Sixth Form (71 in 2024) and 100% of applicants are accepted onto their first or second choice via the UCAS Main Cycle. Students are drawn from a range of socio-economic backgrounds and gain entry through a non-selective entry policy; our Sixth Form is wholly comprehensive. Many students study a mix of academic and vocational courses, and they are encouraged to take part in a variety of enrichment and work experience opportunities. Students’ progress into Year 13 with three pass grades from Year 12 mocks and our predicted grades are tracked over time with students completing further mocks in Year 13.
