Location

The Library is located on the first floor of the main building and is well equipped with books and other resources for study.

Opening Times

The Library is open and staffed throughout the day for use by staff and students:

  • Monday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm
  • Tuesday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm
  • Wednesday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm
  • Thursday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm
  • Friday 8.45 am – 3.20 pm

Sixth Form students have use of the Library and its resources for their private study sessions.

Students from Years 9, 10 and 11 are able to use the Library for research purposes or to use computers during lesson time with the appropriate permission from a member of staff.

Resources

The Library has a wide range of resources available to staff and students including fiction and non-fiction books, revision guides, 19 computers, an extensive range of careers information, university and college prospectuses, daily newspapers and subject-related magazines and periodicals.

Resource Borrowing

The Library operates a computerised management system (Eclipse.net) controlling the borrowing and return of resources. All students automatically become members of the Library when joining Tudor Grange Academy Redditch.
