KS3

All students will study the KS3 National Curriculum throughout year 9. This curriculum has been creatively designed to provide a breadth and depth of learning experiences, ensuring that students are fully equipped with the fundamental skills and cultural capital required to begin their GCSE courses in year 10.

The attached booklet below gives an overview of curriculum time for each subject.

The Core curriculum timetable comprises:

KS4

At KS4 students follow recommended curriculum pathways according to their academic ability, including the Ebaccalaureate route and a range of GCSEs or vocational qualifications. In addition to their option subjects, the vast majority of pupils will study English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, and Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE) delivered through form time and a range of guest speakers and workshops. 

KS5

The curriculum at Post 16 is designed to prepare students for both university and the world of work. Each post-16 student has their own specific goal and ambition, and we ensure that each student has a personalised curriculum that meets their individual requirements. Students choose from a diverse range of qualifications so that they are able to participate in challenging and enjoyable courses.
