Uniform

Tudor Grange Academy Redditch is very proud of the standards it maintains with uniform. This is achieved through the partnership between the Academy and home. To enable parents/carers to support the Academy, the full uniform requirements are listed below.

Further Clarification

Banned items	Hoodies (zipped or pullover), non-school jumpers, mid-calf or knee high socks, sunglasses, caps, boots, trainers, false nails, false eyelashes, mobile phones and any other items of jewellery or piercings not stated in the policy. Mobile phones
Make up	A small amount of discreet make-up is allowed but lipstick, false eyelashes, coloured lip gloss and coloured nail varnish are not.
Hair styles	Natural colours. No shaved patterns or extreme styles. Eyebrows should not have shaved lines in them.
Jewellery	No jewellery is permitted other than a watch. This includes single studded earring.

Second-Hand Uniform

Throughout the year, the school welcomes donations of good-quality uniform items that are no longer needed. If you are looking for second-hand uniform, please contact Student Services, who will be happy to advise on any items currently available.

Alternatively, you may be able to obtain second-hand uniform through the following community groups:

Redditch and Studley School Uniform Sale and Swap

A local Facebook group where families can buy, sell, or exchange school uniform items.

Redditch Uniform Bank

Redditch Uniform Bank provides free school uniforms to local families and runs pop-up uniform exchange events during the summer at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

Equipment Expectations

All students are expected to bring three items of equipment to school each day: pen, pencil and ruler

Additional items of equipment students may want to bring to school include: scientific calculator, green pen and rubber.

If a student arrives at school with the incorrect uniform their College Leader / Member of SLT or the Principal may:

1. Send the student home to change, having first contacted the parents;
2. Provide a change of uniform from our in house stock
3. Send the student to the isolation room to work for the day.

The principal’s decision on acceptable uniform is final.
