Page to Screen – a celebration of storytelling through film, designed to bring families together during the school holidays.

Each half term, we’ll share a selection of film recommendations based on well-known books. While reading the original books is not expected, we’ll provide a brief synopsis of each film along with insights into why the stories are important – whether they’re literary classics, cultural milestones, or tales with powerful messages.

Please ensure that any films you choose to watch are age-appropriate for your child and family. Our recommendations are meant to inspire, but we understand that every family has different viewing preferences and needs.

Building a Culture of Storytelling. Through “Page to Screen,” we hope to build a culture where stories are shared, enjoyed, and talked about—not just in school, but at home and in the wider community. It’s a simple way to connect, reflect, and enjoy meaningful moments together.
